Everyone is welcome to the Summer Party on Sunday 23 June from 12 noon. Please bring a picnic, rugs and chairs. The party is free and everyone living in Britannia Square, Albany Terrace and Stephenson Terrace is invited. Thank you to RGS Springfield for letting us enjoy their gardens and school hall. There will be plenty of outdoor games and the party will take place whatever the weather. If you are able to organise games and races please let one of the committee know.
If you are new to the area, we all want to meet you. Please come and bring your family and friends. It’s a great opportunity for neighbours to get together for a relaxing afternoon.

Thanks to everyone who helped make our Summer Party a great success. It was well attended and included some of our new neighbours. The weather was fine, the food was delicious and Springfield's shady garden was the perfect place to be on a warm afternoon in Britannia Square.
Thanks to Angela Lanyon, whose poetry was a delight and always gives a lovely humorous focus to our parties. Thanks also to everyone who helped with the setting up, bringing food and drinks and clearing up.
City Ward Councillors Lynn Denham (with Paul) and Jabba Riaz came as guests and we were particularly honoured to be joined by our current mayor, Allah Ditta. Simon Geraghty, leader of the County Council and our Riverside County Councillor also spent the afternoon with us.
We are grateful to Laura Brown and all at RGS Springfield for their generosity in giving us a free run of their premises for the day and for the use of the school's sports day marquee.
